Abanka Vipa's Profit Down Nearly 50%

Ljubljana, 23 April - Slovenia's third largest bank Abanka Vipa generated EUR 5.4m in net profit in the first quarter of 2009, which was 47% down year-on-year. The bank's total assets amounted to EUR 3.9bn in March, which was 2.8% more compared to the results posted at the end of 2008.
