Weekly Reveiw of Slovene Economy fom 15 through 20 May
Ljubljana, 20 May - The negotiations of Slovenia with the representatives of the European Union on an associate agreement with the EU concluded on Friday in Brussels. The negotiations paid special attention to Slovene agriculture, textile industry and other economic areas. The negotiators also agreed on the degree of protection of processed and raw agriculture products. It can be expected that Slovenia will on 12 June sign an agreement on the association with the EU. According to the latest statistic data, 68 percent of all Slovenia's exports are directed to the EU countries, while the share of the imports from he EU countries in the 67 percent.
