Wooden Spear Tip from Early Stone Age Found near Ljubljana

Ljubljana, 30 April - Archaeologists have found a wooden spear tip in the bed of the Ljubljanica river dated at 38 to 45 thousand years. The finding adds to the modest data on Paleolithic hunters in the area of Ljubljansko Barje wetlands, the Institute for the Protection of Cultural Heritage of Slovenia (ZVKDS) wrote in a press release on Thursday.
