MEP Novak Speaks Out Against Plans for Tito Street

Strasbourg, 4 May - Slovenian MEP Ljudmila Novak (EPP-ED/NSi) spoke at a plenary of the European Parliament on Monday about plans to name a street in Ljubljana after former Yugoslav President Josip Broz Tito. She said that the resolution on European conscience and totalitarianism adopted by the parliament in April had fallen on deaf ears in Slovenia.
