Minister Reopens Debate on Gay Marriage

Ljubljana, 10 May - Interior Minister Katarina Kresal this week reopened the debate on gay marriage in Slovenia by saying that the family law act should be amended to include same-sex unions. This has provoked criticism from conservative circles, who say now is not the time to deal with issues that divide society.
