Delo on Slovene Exchange Rate Policy
Ljubljana, 23 May - Criticizing the exchange rate policy is in principle not advantageous for politicians, nor for the exchange rate policy, and the least of all for the national economy. If he had been informed of the bitter experience of his foreign counterparts, Slovene Prime Minister Drnovšek might have avoided his Sunday public statement release in which he said that "the Bank of Slovenia should provide at least neutral exchange rate policy, since the current exchange policy has already endangered several successful companies", writes the daily Delo on Tuesday.
