Total Net Profit of Slovenian Companies Down in 2008

Ljubljana, 13 May - Taken together Slovenian companies posted EUR 1.7bn in net profit in 2008, which is 52% less then in 2007, the Public Legal Records and Related Services Agency of Slovenia (AJPES) said on Wednesday. Companies meanwhile posted a total of EUR 85.5bn in revenues, 11% more than a year before, while expenses grew by 14%.
