Czechoslovakia Reportedly Planned Tunnel to Slovenian Coast

Prague, 14 May - Former Czechoslovakia was planning to dig a 350-kilometre railway tunnel connecting the Czech Budejovice with Koper on the Slovenian coast, according to the online edition of Czech daily Lidove noviny. The 1975 plan aimed to bring Czech and Slovak tourists to the Adriatic Sea in two hours.
