Majority of Foreign visitors to Slovenia Last Year Came From Four European Countries

Two thirds of the visitors to Slovenia were from four European countries: Italy, Germany, Austria and Croatia, followed by the visitors from the Czech Republic, the Netherlands, Hungary and Great Britain. In average they spent five to six days in Slovenia, in this time each spending about DEM 400, of which over one half for accommodation and food. They spent slightly less than one fourth the mentioned amount in bars and restaurants or for groceries, and the rest of the amount for shopping, various admission tickets, and trasportation.
