Slovenia Doubles Number of EPO Patents in 2008

Munich/Ljubljana, 23 May - Slovenians submitted 129 applications for patent with the European Patent Office (EPO) in 2008, which is 12.2% more than the year before. This means that the number of applications per million people stood at 63.7, which lists Slovenia 20th among 34 European countries, according to the EPO annual report.
