MPs Pass Watered-Down Amendments to Loan Guarantee Scheme

Ljubljana, 27 May - The National Assembly passed, just after midnight, amendments to the act on the loan guarantee scheme, including an amendment that eliminates the original intention of preventing banks to give or extend loans used in management buyouts. The restrictions will apply only in cases in which borrowers have violated the legislation.
