Gazprom's Interest in Petrol Lifts Stock Market

Ljubljana, 8 June - Unofficial reports that Russian gas giant Gazprom is interested in acquiring Slovenian energy group Petrol sent the item surging 12.3% on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange on Monday. Gains by Petrol and drug maker Krka also pushed the benchmark SBI 20 index 2.68% higher to 4,369.77 points.
