Number of Tourists in May Drops by 16% Y/Y

Ljubljana, 24 June - Slovenian tourist facilities registered 217,053 arrivals of Slovenian and foreign guests in May, which is a 16% drop year-on-year. The number of guests in the first five months of 2009 stood at 857,817, which is down 8% compared to the same period last year, the Statistics Office said on Wednesday.
