First Agreement Between Canada and Slovenia on Nuclear Safety Signed

Ljubljana, 31 May - Slovenia and Canada signed an Agreement on cooperation in peaceful utilization of nuclear energy Wednesday in Ljubljana. This first bilateral agreement between the two countries was signed by Canadian Ambassador to Slovenia Rodney Irwin and Director of the Slovene Nuclear Safety Board (URSJV) Miroslav Gregorič. The two officials signed also an accord between the two country's boards competent for nuclear and radiological safety, URSJV reported.
