Med Games: Flatwater Kayaker Ponomarenko Wins Gold
Pescara, 4 July - Slovenian flatwater kayaker Spela Ponomarenko won the gold medal at the Mediterranean Games in Italy's Pescara on Saturday in the women's 500-metre event. She finished the race ahead of Maria Teresa Portela Rivas of Spain and Josefa Idem of Italy.
