Number of Births in 2008 the Highest in Slovenia's History

Ljubljana, 5 July - Slovenia has seen a record number of births in its history in 2008, according to data released by the Statistics Office. For the first time since 1991, when the country gained independence, the number of newborns topped 21,000.
