EUR 23m Spent for Reconstruction After 2004 Quake in Posocje

Bovec/Kobarid, 12 July - It has been five years since a devastating earthquake hit the region of Posocje, damaging almost 2,000 buildings. Until July 2009, the government channeled EUR 23.2m into relief measures, including reconstruction. The total amount earmarked for the region stands at EUR 66m, while the reconstruction works are expected to finish by 2012.
