Slovene Citizens Against Sale of Real Estate to Foreigners According to Poll

Ljubljana, 3 June - According to a poll conducted by the agency Stik of Slovene daily 'Delo' on 31 May among 748 people from all Slovenia, the Slovene government and the ruling Liberal Democratic Party do not have good prospects at the moment, since only 25.5 percent of Slovene people would vote for the abolition of the notorious article of the Slovene constitution prohibiting sale of real estate to foreigners, while 64.9 percent would oppose it if a referendum took place today. 9.6 percent of people were undecided, according to the poll published in the Saturday issue of 'Delo'.
