SNS Accuses Italy of Assimilation of Slovenian Minority

Ljubljana, 17 July - National Party (SNS) leader Zmago Jelincic wrote on Friday a letter to Council of Europe (CoE) Secretary-General Terry Davis in which he accused Italy of "grave violations of provisions of Framework Convention for the Protection of National Minorities" against the members of Slovenian minority around Trieste.
