Slovenia's Exports, Imports Drop in 1st Half of 2009

Ljubljana, 7 August - Slovenian exports dropped by 23.2% to EUR 7.29bn in the first half of 2009 compared to the same period lasst year, while the imports fell by 30.2% to EUR 8.21bn. The trade gap amounted to EUR 288.3m, while the export-import ratio stood at 96.5%, according to the Statistics Office's preliminary data released on Friday.
