New York, 2 September - Making her comeback from injury, Slovenia's best women's tennis player Katarina Srebotnik lost to Nadia Petrova of Russia in straight sets, 6:3 and 6:3, in the first round of the US Open on Monday. It was a bad day for Slovenians all around, as Masa Zec Peskiric and Polona Hercog were also knocked out.
