Tuerk Urges Government to File for CERN Membership

Ljubljana, 8 September - President Danilo Tuerk has called on the government to file as soon as possible for full-fledged membership of Slovenia in the European Organisation for Nuclear Research (CERN). CERN is one of the main global centres of scientific development, and Slovenia would gain with the membership in many fields, Tuerk said on Tuesday.
