Minister Pledges to Preserve Social Welfare

Ljubljana, 8 September - Labour, Family and Social Affairs Minister Ivan Svetlik said on Tuesday that the 2010/2011 budgets, although they envisage freezing of all social transfers, will not take away any rights. This comes after the government started talking on Monday to public servants' representatives to freeze their pays in order to draft a sustainable budget.
