Stand-Off at Gorenje Escalating

Velenje, 16 September - The strike at home appliance group Gorenje is continuing on Wednesday with increased intensity, as production has been put on halt in all but one of the group's companies. Between 800 and 1,000 workers have gathered in front of the entrance to Gorenje, expanding their initial protest against August pay irregularities with a pay rise demand.
