Parliament Backs Special Tax for Managers

Ljubljana, 23 September - The MPs endorsed almost unanimously on Wednesday a piece of legislation which heavily taxes income of management and supervisory board members in state-controlled companies during the recession. The law imposes an additional 49% tax on pay over the ceiling amount set by government guidelines, which stands at EUR 12,500 monthly.
