Govt Meeting to Adopt 2010, 2011 Budgets

Ljubljana, 29 September - The government is to discuss on Tuesday the proposal for the 2010 and 2011 state budgets. On the eve of the session, two major issues were still open: the government could not get the public sector trade unions to agree to its plan to keep wages at 2009 level, while Pensioners' Party (DeSUS) opposed the government's plan to freeze pensions.
