Govt, Trade Unions Fail to Reach Pay Freeze Deal

Ljubljana, 29 September - The government and public sector trade unions failed to reach agreement on pay freeze for 2010 late on Monday, as the trade unions rejected the cabinet's latest proposal. The two sides, which refused to disclose any details of the talks, are most likely to meet again next Monday.
