IMAD Forecasts 7.3% Drop in GDP, 1.9% Inflation for 2009

Ljubljana, 30 September - Slovenia's GDP will shrink by 7.3% in 2009, according to the forecast by the government economic think-thank, IMAD. Next year the country's economy would grow by 0.9%, whereas a more robust growth is expected only in 2011, when the GDP should rise by 2.5%.
