Human Rights Commissioner Calls for Solving of Roma Issues

Novo Mesto, 7 October - The problems that Roma communities in the Dolenjsko region are facing in trying to legalise their settlements and the issues with water and electricity supply must be solved, the Council of Europe's Human Rights Commissioner Thomas Hammarberg said as he visited Roma settlement Zabjak-Brezje in Novo mesto on Tuesday.
