Govt Addresses Pomurje Situation with Special Development Law

Ljubljana, 8 October - The government adopted on Thursday a bill that envisages special development aid for Pomurje (NE) in the 2010-2015 period. The bill, which earmarks around 192m for special measures, comes after the poorest Slovenian region was dealt a serious blow with the bankruptcy of its biggest company, clothes maker Mura.
