Chamber: 74,000 Jobs Could be Lost if Minimum Wage is Raised

Ljubljana, 9 October - Following calls from trade unions for a higher minimum wage, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GZS) said on Friday that over 74,000 could be left jobless if the wage was raised to EUR 650. "Higher minimum wages would lead to the collapse of the entire pay system in Slovenia," Samo Hribar Milic of the GZS said.
