Govt to Again Open Diplomatic Posts to Non-Career Diplomats

Ljubljana, 15 October - The government is expected to adopt on Thursday amendments to the foreign affairs act allowing a certain number of non-career diplomats to serve as ambassadors, and at the same time raising the criteria for the appointment of ambassadors and defining in more detail the procedure for their appointment.
