Slovenia Abstains from Goldstone Report Resolution

Ljubljana, 16 October - Slovenia was among the 11 countries which abstained on Friday from the UN Human Rights Council vote on a resolution condemning Israel for its offensive in the Gaza Strip last winter. Slovenia believes that the resolution, passed in a 25:6 vote, should have also condemned certain actions of Hamas.
