Slovenia Rejects EU Commission's Recommendation on GMOs

Luxembourg, 20 October - A majority of EU countries, including Slovenia, rejected on Tuesday a recommendation by the European Commission on allowing three types of genetically modified corn. Slovenia's decision reflects caution and the general negative sentiment on GMOs, Agriculture Minister Milan Pogacnik explained in Luxembourg.
