SDS Wants Debate on Appointment of New Russian Ambassador

Ljubljana, 21 October - The opposition Democrats (SDS) responded on Wednesday to reports that Russia had appointed the first pro-Russian Chechen leader Doku Zavgayev the new Russian ambassador to Slovenia by demanding a discussion on the matter. The party believes Zavgayev's confirmation would be disputable from the human rights aspect.
