Govt to Introduce New Property Tax by 2011

Ljubljana, 22 October - In efforts to bridge the budget gap, the government has resurfaced a property tax proposal that could according to the Finance Ministry be implemented as of 2011. A nation-wide valuation will have to be carried out first, its costs being estimated at EUR 3.5m.
