Minister: Soldiers in Afghanistan Not to Be Engaged in Combat
Ljubljana, 4 November - Following media reports that Defence Minister Ljubica Jelusic had promised to NATO Secretary General that Slovenian soldiers in Afghanistan would get engaged in combat operations, the minister said on Wednesday that she had given no promises to Anders Fogh Rasmussen regarding the role of Slovenian soldiers.
