Parliament Becomes UNICEF Safe Point for Children

Ljubljana, 16 November - The National Assembly on Monday marked 20 years of the convention on the rights of the child by becoming the first parliament in the world to gain the status of a UNICEF Safe Point for children. The move carries an important symbolic message and should serve as an encouragement to other institutions, Speaker Pavel Gantar said.
