Ex-World Bank Economist Looks at Globalisation and Poverty

Ljubljana, 18 November - Francois Bourguignon, the chief economist of the World Bank between 2003 and 2007, was confident in his talk in Ljubljana on Tuesday that poverty in the world can be reduced fast despite the slow growth that will probably mark the coming decade.
