Govt Deficit Almost Halved in Q3

Ljubljana, 30 November - The budget deficit in the third quarter of 2009 decreased to EUR 338m or 3.8% GDP from EUR 605m or 6.8% of GDP in the second quarter. According to Andrej Flajs of the Statistics Office, the main reason for the decrease is a cut in spending.
