Surgeon Named Delo Person of the Year
Ljubljana, 4 January - Surgeon Erik Brecelj is the person of the year 2009, as chosen by Slovenia's leading daily Delo. Brecelj, who had made a name for himself by going public about the chaotic conditions at the Ljubljana Oncology Institute, received the award at a ceremony on Monday.
