Report: Rail Operator to Put Over 1,000 Workers on Forced Leave

Ljubljana, 5 January - The management of the troubled Slovenian railways operator Slovenske zeleznice and union reps discussed on Tuesday upcoming cost-cutting measures, under which over 1,000 employees are to be sent on forced leave. Another meeting is planned for Wednesday, with wage cuts also on the agenda, according to reports.
