Environment Commissioner Nominee Says Green Economy His Priority

Brussels, 7 January - Janez Potocnik, who has been nominated for the European commissioner responsible for the environment, has said ahead of next week's hearing before the European Parliament's environment committee that his priorities are promoting a green economy, halting the loss of biodiversity and improving environmental legislation.
