Slovenia Preparing New Bids for UNESCO Heritage List

Divača, 20 January - Slovenia has so far seen only one of its cultural and natural treasures make it onto the UNESCO World Heritage list. While efforts are underway for two more entries, those running the Skocjanske jame caves in the southwestern Kras region fear that their UNESCO status is being put in peril by development activities in the area.
