OLYMPICS: President Decorates Olympic Medalist Majdic
Ljubljana, 19 February - President Danilo Tuerk on Friday bestowed the Golden Order for Services on cross-country skier Petra Majdic for her exceptional performance at the Vancouver Winter Olympics. Majdic defied the odds by winning bronze in the sprint event on Wednesday after breaking her ribs in a fall during the training run.
