Slovenia to Get Radwaste Repository in 2016

Krško, 8 March - Slovenia is one of a handful of European countries with nuclear power stations that do not have a repository for low and medium-level radioactive waste. But a site not far from the Krsko Nuclear Power Plant (NEK) has now been selected and the repository is due to go into operation in 2016.
