Official Concerned about Ebbing Food Self-Sufficiency
Ljubljana, 8 March - Slovenia's food self-sufficiency ratio has declined from 85% in 2000 to 50% or even less now. The most problematic is supply with vegetables, where only 30% of the needs are covered by home-grown produce, an official has warned.
