Remains Found of 1st Permanent Settlement in Ljubljana

Ljubljana, 10 March - Archaeologists have found remains of prehistoric pile-dwellings on the Ljubljanica river bank in the southern part of Ljubljana. The site is the oldest and and first permanent settlement in the city area, head of the excavations Irena Sinkovec said at a press conference on Wednesday.
