EU Wants Answers on Dismissal of APEK Boss
Brussels, 18 March - The European Commission demanded from Slovenia Thursday information on the dismissal of Tomaz Simonic as head of the Agency for Post and Electronic Communications (APEK). The Commission believes Simonic may not have been dismissed in line with EU regulations providing autonomy to national telecommunications regulators.
