TVM Workers Sent on Forced Leave, to Protest Friday
Maribor, 25 March - About 170 workers at Maribor-based vehicle maker TVM were sent on a forced leave on Wednesday until the end of next week, reportedly because the company does not have enough money to continue production. The workers meanwhile decided to stage a protest on Friday to demand January pay and 2009 holiday allowance.
